What do you record?
I DO record audiobooks, Narration (eLearning/corporate/PSA/documentary/etc.), Commercial (local/regional), Animation, and Video Games
I do NOT record adult themes, excessive profanity, stories with dead dogs
How much do you charge?
All pricing is based on the “GVAA Non-Union Rate Guide.”
Examples Rates:
– $30 includes usage rights and first 50 words for commercial and narration scripts. The price drops to $10 per each additional 50 words.
– Broadcast Rights are required for any paid placement. (Additional cycles will be the same rate plus 20%)
– Pricing for YouTube or other social media content is based on number of subscribers.
Do you accept rush orders?
My calendar fills up fairly quickly, but message me and include your script (word count), deadline, number of files needed, and explanation of your project. For a turn-around time less than 24 hours, I may charge an additional fee.
Where do you record?
I have a professionally sound-treated home studio (Home Studio Assessment, certified by sound engineers.) I primarily use an ADK Large Diaphragm Side-Address Condenser microphone with shock mount, and I work in ProTools audio recording software.
Can you send a sample?
The short answer is no… but it depends on the length of the project. A lot of upfront work goes into creating a quality VO read from analyzing scripts to developing tone; however, I would be happy to send my pro commercial and/or narration demos by request.
Can you do character voices?
Yes! And I love to do them! I can’t guarantee impressions, but I’d love to work with you to create a fitting voice for your character. A detailed character description and photo is always helpful.
What audiobooks do you read?
I’m available to read a wide range of ACX audiobook categories including Fiction, Science Fiction & Fantasy (dark, paranormal, etc.), YA/Mid-grade, Comedy, and Memoir/Biography. Audiobooks are priced around $120 per finished hour depending on the project. (9,000 words = approx. 1 hour recorded time)
